the wedding! {part 3}

today's post is part 3 of my wedding: the reception! fun times. :) if you missed part 1 {the prep} or part 2 {the ceremony} click to read them!

our decor and location was a.m.a.z.i.n.g.

in case you haven't caught on yet, our colors were yellow and gray. {love.}

our super awesome chandeliers. :)

 our food = fabulous. {to die for} lemon herb chicken!

 i love our wedding cake! very simple but so elegant and...well...me! the tier second from the top is my fave.

yep. we had an ice cream bar. with ice cream that was most definitely the best ice cream i've ever eaten in my entire life.

 oh-my-gorgeousness!!! the twinkle lights were beyond amazing. so fairytale like! {by the way...our reception started at 2 but this picture was taken around 8 when it was dark.}

we had a live band!

my parents. i love them so much and i wouldn't be where i am today without them!

father daughter dance! "daughters" by john mayer. i'm a huge john mayer fan and i've dreamed of that being the song since i first heard it however many years ago!

 "everything" by michael buble! i adore this song too. john mayer & michael buble are my 2 very favorite singers. i kinda sorta obsess over them.

 looking deep into his eyes {he's looking deep into mine too}. i'm so head over heels.

 one of my beautiful best friends. i love you, zoe!

and that concludes the wedding! it was completely amazing. I wouldn't change it for the world! it was a day full of best friends, family, and of course, caleb. here's to 100+ more years together!

the wedding! {part 2}

and now, the most important part: the ceremony!

my dad walking me down the "aisle"! we started up at the top of the stairs and walked all the way down then  right to where caleb was waiting at the "altar". :)

our pastor is the same one who married my mom and dad! he's a family friend as well.

the waves were perfect, there was a slight breeze, it was pretty much fairytale weather.

i, cecilia hope james, take you, caleb joshua zerhusan, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part. 

{really random, but...i love my husband's name! caleb joshua. from caleb & joshua in the bible?}

i now pronounce you...man and wife! you may kiss the bride.

my wedding was a dream come true. 1 month ago today, and i can't believe we've been husband and wife for that long! the wedding was perfect because of who it was with.

i love you caleb!

the wedding! {part 1}

february 14, 2012.

the day I went from a single girl, a bachelorette... to a wife. from cecilia james to mrs. caleb zerhusan.

otherwise known as the happiest day of my entire life.

and yes, my wedding was on a tuesday. weird? yes. amazing? yes. valentine's day was our first date, and i just really love it. it's my favorite holiday, cheesy or not. my wedding day was the day of love, and now, whenever i look back on my wedding day, it will always serve as a reminder of just how much i love him.

the wedding was at carillon beach in panama city, florida. a beach wedding = my dream wedding.

we had flip-flops for everyone! it was a beach wedding, and i live my life in flip-flops anyway, so it was just a little something special we did. caleb was also wearing flip-flops {in black} and i was wearing gladiator sandals {2 of my brides maids wore flip-flops the others wore gladiator sandals...it was their preference!}

isn't it gorgeous? i love every single little thing about our location. the imperfect sand, the beautiful crashing waves, the bright yellow of the flowers, everything. 

our wedding was very intimate. under 100 people, just family and close friends.

 the ceremony was at 12pm, so my girls and i were up by 6am to begin getting ready! my amazing mom went out and got us coffee and doughnuts. 

my dress was absolutely perfect. a dream come true. very simple but ruffled on the top with a long train.

while we were doing our girl stuff, my handsome hubby and his guys were getting ready as well! although they got to sleep in way longer than we did. boys.

caleb. he's pretty much drop dead handsome. i'm so incredibly in love with him!
