hi, and welcome to my new blog!

i'm cecilia. {ceci for short.} i'm a newlywed, a businesswoman, a blooming photographer, and now... a blogger!

my husband, caleb, and i tied the knot on valentines day 2012, just 25 short days ago. he is the love of my life and i couldn't be more thrilled about spending the rest of my life with him!

why am i starting a blog? well, because i want to chronicle our lives. life has and will be changing a lot of me lately. when caleb and i have been married for 50 years and we're both little 74 year old's, i want to be able to look back and remember that weekend in march when he took me on a wonderful date or that picnic with my girlfriends in may.

 i hope you'll stick around as i tell the tale of our quiet little {blessed!} life in washington d.c.
